1. Agreement
By placing a hold or booking with VoltBooth Studio Rentals (“VoltBooth”), you agree to these Terms. If you are acting on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.
2. Bookings and holds
Holds are not confirmed reservations. A booking is confirmed upon written confirmation and receipt of required documents and payments. VoltBooth may release unconfirmed holds after the hold window expires.
3. Rates and overtime
Rates are quoted exclusive of taxes and fees. Unless specified otherwise, day rates cover up to 10 hours. Overtime applies thereafter; see the FAQ for thresholds. Night operations may be restricted by building rules.
4. Insurance
Client must provide a valid COI naming VoltBooth Studio Rentals as additional insured and loss payee. Coverage must be adequate for gear and activities conducted on site.
5. Payment terms
For studio bookings, a deposit may be required to secure dates, with the balance due before shoot day. Invoices are payable upon receipt unless otherwise stated.
6. Cancellations
Cancellations within 72 hours of call time may incur full charges on studios and reserved equipment. We will make reasonable efforts to mitigate costs by rebooking.
7. Use of premises
Client agrees to comply with building rules, fire codes, and safety instructions. No hazardous materials, pyrotechnics, or high-SPL sound reinforcement without prior approval.
8. Damage and loss
Client is responsible for loss or damage to facilities or equipment arising from Client’s use, excluding normal wear and tear.
9. Conduct
VoltBooth maintains a respectful, inclusive environment. Harassment or discrimination is not tolerated. We reserve the right to remove individuals disrupting safety or operations.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VoltBooth is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed fees paid for the affected booking.
11. Force majeure
VoltBooth is not responsible for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to utility outages, strikes, severe weather, or governmental actions.
12. Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. See the Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms occasionally. Material updates will be posted on this site with a new effective date.
